As we have commented in previous editions, limited access to technology will continue to allow food fraud to remain a serious crime.
Looking to the future the food that’s eaten will consist of choices radically different to what’s available today and those choices, as ever, will be a target for fraud. Furthermore, some foods that are fraudulent are physically identical to non-fraudulent foods; making differentiation impossible.
