A new multi-million-pound biomedical research facility holding up to 25,000 mouse IVC cages required a health screening service to monitor all incoming animals pre and post rederivation. This included approximately 265 cages of recipient females and vasectomised males, and approximately 1200 recipient female mice and their offspring.
